Baubles: Sterling Silver post earrings with semi-precious stones

I've been fascinated by the word 'bauble' since reading it in a novel as a 'tween.  I was a little bit nerdy, always looking up words that I didn't know.  Some accounts have it as a piece of 'cheap' jewelry.  Others say its a round ornament, like glass spheres for tree decorating.  I like "a small object displayed for its attractiveness or interest".  And I just like the word.  These are not 'cheap', and not round.  They are definitely small and attractive!
